Accessibility Statement
Teslas.R.Us is committed to making this public website usable by as many people as possible. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard commonly referenced in ADA and California Unruh Act web accessibility cases.
Measures we take
- Semantic HTML, a skip link to the product grid, and a clear heading structure
- Keyboard access for filters, search, sort, featured carousel controls, and product links
- Visible focus indicators and color contrast adjustments for text and UI chrome
- Carousel pause/play control, pause on hover and keyboard focus, and respect for
prefers-reduced-motion - Screen-reader friendly filter buttons (
aria-pressed), result-count announcements, and reduced redundant link stops on product cards - Indications when links open in a new tab
- Automated checks (axe-core) plus manual keyboard review as part of ongoing maintenance
Known limitations
- Third-party Amazon pages are outside our control. After you follow a product link, Amazon’s accessibility experience applies.
- Product titles, blurbs, and images come from Amazon listings and may occasionally have imperfect alt text or wording we did not author.
- Horizontally scrolling filter chip rows on small screens are intentional; they remain operable by touch and keyboard focus.
This statement describes a good-faith WCAG 2.1 AA effort. It is not a formal accessibility certification or legal warranty.
