Teslas.R.Us (“we,” “us”) operates this site as an independent Tesla enthusiast shop that uses Amazon Associates affiliate links. This policy explains what information may be collected when you visit, how we notify you of changes, and how California visitors can reach us (CalOPPA).
Information we collect
This site itself does not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or phone number through forms, accounts, or newsletters. There is no login or checkout on this site.
Like most websites, the server or hosting provider that serves these pages may automatically record standard technical log data when your browser requests a page. That can include your IP address, browser user agent, date/time, and the pages requested. We do not use that log data to identify you personally, and we do not currently run first-party analytics scripts on this site.
Third parties that may collect information
- Amazon.com — When you click an Amazon Associates (“Special Link”) from this site, Amazon may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to recognize that you came from Teslas.R.Us and to attribute qualifying purchases for commissions. - Hosting provider — When the site is hosted online, the host may process the technical logs described above as part of operating the server.
Other than Amazon (via affiliate clicks) and the eventual hosting provider, we do not intentionally share visitor data with third parties for advertising networks on this site.
Cookies and online tracking over time
This site does not set its own marketing or tracking cookies. Third parties—especially Amazon after you click through—may place or recognize cookies on your device for advertising, attribution, and fraud prevention. Those parties may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites. You can control cookies in your browser settings. Do Not Track (DNT)
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. This site itself does no cross-site tracking and does not change its behavior based on DNT signals because there is nothing first-party to turn off. Third parties such as Amazon may not honor DNT signals; their response is governed by their own policies.
How we notify you of material changes
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after that date means you are viewing the updated policy. For significant changes once a public email exists, we may also note the update on the shop homepage.
California residents (CCPA / CPRA note)
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are commonly used under the CCPA/CPRA. This small static affiliate shop does not run a customer database or sell visitor lists. This note is informational and does not claim CCPA “business” status or thresholds one way or the other.
